My little tumble bug!

First off I 'll tell you I uploaded these pictures kinda out of order. But it's done now, so oh well!

V. has been taking a tumbling class this year. It's kinda a mommy and me thing. We have loved it! She has loved going and was always asking if she could go to gym today! The class struggled a bit, poeple coming then dropping out. But her teacher, Ashlee was always so patient and good, even on days when V. was the only one there.

So this last week they had a gym night where all the parents came and could watch and see what the kids have learned. V. was the youngest there and did so well! Whenever she did a trick she would grin and look at Steve. She knew I knew she could do this stuff 'cause I've been coming with her to class. But this was Steve's first time watching her. She was so proud to have him there watching her.

At the end all the kids got a trophy for completing the class. V. was so excited and proud!

She was being a goofball here. Sticking her tongue out and all!

This is the possum hang. She pulled herself up in the position without any help and was so happy!

They had a day last month where a photographer came in and took pics of the kids. This is V. with Ashlee.

And here's my little tumble bug! She is so cute! I'm so proud of her for completing the class and being such a good girl during class time. If we can, we are going to sign her up next year as well. She has loved this class and has learned how to follow her teacher and take turns with other kids.

The creativity bug has hit

So, I'm not real crafty or creative, but every once in a while the bug hits and I craft like crazy for a day or two. I thought I'd post some pics of some of the stuff I made the last week or two. Some are for me. Some for friends. And some for the raffle at the family reunion next month. Keep in mind I am by no means very good at this and NONE of these ideas are my own.

This is just a block I painted, and mod podged the saying on (I printed the saying off the computer). I distressed the edges of the block and paper and tied a ribbon around the whole thing. I made this for a friend of mine that homeschools and I thought the saying was fitting for her.

This is a block I made for V. I painted the block pink and sanded the edges.I cut the letters out of vinyl with my new Cricut! YAY!

I actually made this awhile ago but thought I would post it anyway. I printed the saying off the computer, bought a cheap frame, used some scrapebook paper and ribbon, and voila! I also made one of these for V. with her name in the background and the words' a Daughter of God' as the overlay. Very cute!

I made these last year with the Y.W. in my church for Mother's Day. I painted the blocks, sanded the edges, then mod podged paper and pictures on. Easy.

Please forget all the dust on the shelf., I really do dust. Just not very often in the basement..... Painted blocks, sanded edges, vinyl lettering from my Cricut.

I have a few more projects that are ALMOST done. I'll post pics of them when I finish them. I hope I haven't bored anyone with all this!:)

Fast Asleep

We have had such fun this weekend. V. has had fun playing with her cousins and aunts. Last night on the way home she fell asleep with a sucker in her mouth. Being the blogger mom that I am, I snapped a picture! So cute!

Birthday

Today is my birthday. I'm starting to get old! AAHH!
But it has been a fun weekend. Steve's sisters came to town and we've had fun hanging out with them. They watched V. for us last night while Steve took me out to dinner. Then we went to buy my birthday gift. My own set of golf clubs! I've been golfing a few times and always used Steve's set. I'm not very good at all, but have been enough to know that I would like to get better. So Steve told me this week that this is what he was wanting to get me. He also knew that I would love the fact that they are the HOPE set. Breast cancer awareness. My mom passed away from breast cancer nine years ago and I love supporting the cause any way I can!

So anyway, when we got back from dinner Steve's family had surprise cake and ice cream waiting for me. Then I woke up this morning to find that his sisters had decided to toilet paper our house. First time this has ever been done to us. It was fine until I went out to clean it up and noticed that the neighborhood dogs decided to go to the bathroom all over the toilet paper. GROSS!

This afternoon my parents, grandparents and Steve's parents came over for more cake and ice cream. I have loved this weekend! It's been very nice! Thanks to everyone for making it so!

My Hubby

I was tagged and posted this note on my facebook account. A friend mentioned I should post it on here as well. At least, I think this was the note she was talking about! I won't tag anyone, but if you want to do it, have fun! ( I just noticed there is no #5...)

This is Steve taking down his game cam that he uses when he goes hunting. It snapped a picture of him. Blurry I know, but whenever I try to take a picture of him he's either not being seriouse, or something like that...Sad that a game cam can get a better picture, huh?

1. He's sitting in front of the TV, what is on the TV? soccer, dirtbike races, skateboarding,So you think you can dance, Hell's kitchen

2. You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? He calls salad rabbit food. On the rare occasion he does eat one he'll have ranch dressing.

3. What's one food he doesn't like? Onions, peppers,tomatoes

4. You go out to eat and have a drink. What does he order to drink? Dr. Pepper

6. What size shoe does he wear? 9

7. If he was to collect anything, what would it be? Dirt bike posters, autographs,post cards. Whenever we go anywhere he wants to buy post cards!

8. What is his favorite type of sandwich? Italian B.M.T.(subway)

9. What would this person eat every day if he could? Let's see...he already practically inhales soda.But a food?....pizza

10. What is his favorite cereal? Corn pops

11. What would he never wear? A leotard!

12. What is his favorite sports team? L.A.Lakers

13. Who did he vote for? ....He was in St. Louis at the time and didn't get around to doing the absentee vote or whatever it was he was supposed to do!

14. Who is his best friend? Me!

15. What is something you do that he wished you wouldn't do? Nag. Yes! I'm a nagging wife! Not very often, but sometimes it's the only way I can get him to do something for me! (This makes him sound like he dosent' do anything. He does alot! But sometimes he needs a little prodding...)

16. What is his heritage? His dad is white(American), His mom is Navajo. So he's half 'n' half!

17. You bake him a cake for his birthday; what kind of cake? Either a cherry cheesecake or strawberry shortcake!

18.Did he play sports in high school? He played soccer for Blackfoot. Even though he attended Snake River. But back in the stone age, Snake River didn't have a soccer team!

19. What could he spend hours doing? Working on his bikes. Or maybe...hunting. I'll also add golfing and surfing!

20. What is one unique talent he has? He's a very selfless person. He always puts me and V. first. He has integrity. And he loves me for who I am!

21. What is his favorite thing to do when you have a night together? uhh........

22. Does he always have to drive, or does he let you drive? He doesn't HAVE to drive. He drives most of the time just 'cause that's how we've always done it.

23. Do you ever fight? Of course. Who dosen't? It's the making up that's so good!

24. If he were to buy you a gift, what would he get you? Flowers, chocolate, and either a dvd or a cd, sometimes jewelry.

.25. Was it love at first sight? It certainly was!! We met on a blind date...long story...
